The Soma Lyra-4 is a compact four-voice analog organismic synthesizer built around Soma's unique "organismic" synthesis philosophy. It features touch-activated pitch controls, individual voice tuning, internal FM and modulation interactions between voices, and a built-in distortion/overdrive circuit. The Lyra-4's semi-modular internal structure encourages cross-modulation and feedback routing between voices, producing evolving textures, drones, and expressive experimental tones. Its metal enclosure, minimal interface, and pressure-sensitive contacts make it an intuitive and performance-oriented instrument, equally suited for sound design, ambient work, and experimental music.
