For sale: Polyend Dreadbox Medusa hybrid synthesizer in very good cosmetic condition and perfect working order. This is a genuinely strange and unique creature that combines a hybrid analog & digital synth engine, expressive grid controller, and deep sequencer in one distinctive piece of hardware with an intuitive interface that rewards exploration.

The OSC1 potentiometer was drifting. We replaced with a new part and it's now working perfectly. The firmware has been updated to the latest version 4.0.1. Everything works as it should with no known issues. The overall cosmetic condition is very good, but there are a few blemishes in the finish (see photos 14-17), and a few imperfections on the knobs (see photo 18). Please examine all photos carefully, as we have done our best to document the condition.
The Medusa was developed jointly by Polyend and Dreadbox, pairing three analog oscillators and three digital oscillators with an analog multimode filter and a highly expressive 8x8 Grid. It can operate as a massive six-oscillator monosynth, a paraphonic instrument, an experimental sequencing platform, or an expressive controller for external MIDI gear. Firmware 4.0.1 also adds a six-voice, three-operator digital FM synth engine.
