Neumann KH-80 DSP Active 4" Studio Monitors (B-Stock in Original Boxes)

For sale: Pair of Neumann KH-80 DSP 4" active studio monitors in excellent condition. These are B-stock monitors in near-new condition.

Near-new B-stock pair in excellent working condition.
Both monitors have been tested and function as intended.
Includes the original boxes.
Will be shipped double-boxed to help protect the original boxes during transit.
Minor blemish on the top left corner of one speaker (see photo 9) and a small scratch near the input panel of the other. The top left corner blemish is subtle and the other scratch is out of sight on the rear of the speaker.

If you're unfamiliar with Neumanns, they are about as good as it gets in this price range. Captain Black uses a pair of KH-120As in the studio and was pleased to hear that Neumann's classic transparent character translates well to the smaller KH-80s. Mixing decisions are much easier to make compared to monitors like the Yamaha HS5, for example. Despite their compact footprint, the KH-80s deliver impressive low-end extension, excellent imaging, and the neutral response Neumann monitors are known for.

The KH-80 also includes built-in DSP for room alignment and optimized crossover performance, allowing the monitors to be tuned to your space for tighter, more controlled playback that translates reliably across systems. This feature is controlled through Neumann's software. From what I understand, setup tends to be easier on Windows than on Mac. I perform room correction manually and therefore do not have firsthand experience with the Neumann software, so if you plan to use the internal DSP features, I recommend doing your homework before purchase.

Neumann KH-80s are deal for small studios, editing suites, or as a secondary reference system where accuracy matters.
