For sale: Korg MS2000 analog modeling synthesizer in very good cosmetic condition and perfect working order. Despite a few cosmetic imperfections, this is a very clean-looking MS2000 with an intuitive, hands-on interface, 16-band vocoder, and a powerful step sequencer that's very easy to use. It makes a great synth for beginners and pros alike.
Details below:
Everything works as it should with no known functional issues.
The Oscillator Balance potentiometer has been replaced.
The Arpeggiator on/off LED and Arp Range tact switch have been replaced.
There are some imperfections in the finish (see photos 20-23) and some kind of darkened staining on several of the white keys. The key staining is difficult to photograph, but is more visible in person (see photo 19). We tried to remove it with alcohol, lighter fluid, peroxide, and polishing, but it did not respond to any treatment. All of this said, the unit still looks very clean overall with no yellowing of the knobs, buttons, or keys. No sun-bleached wood sides. Please examine all photos carefully, as we have done our best to document the condition.
The Korg MS2000 is a four-voice analog modeling synthesizer built around a hands-on panel, two oscillators plus noise, flexible multimode filtering, four virtual patch routings per timbre, a 16-band vocoder, and three independent 16-step modulation sequences per timbre. Its direct layout makes it approachable for anyone learning subtractive synthesis, while the sequencer, split/dual modes, external audio processing, and deep modulation give experienced users plenty of room to build moving patches and rhythmic textures.
Sale includes the synth, original Korg power supply, and free shipping to the continental US.
