The Platform M+ makes a great first fader bank for anyone still mixing entirely with a mouse. Having real faders under your hands makes it much easier to balance levels, lock in your stereo field, and record automation while listening to your mix. You get eight touch-sensitive motorized channel faders plus a motorized master fader, eight push-button rotary encoders, dedicated channel controls, transport buttons, and a jog wheel. The faders follow your DAW's levels and automation, and you can move through larger sessions one channel or eight tracks at a time. All of this fits into a compact metal chassis that won't take over your desk.
The M+ supports Mackie Control and HUI for compatible DAWs. Please check Icon's current compatibility information for your DAW, operating system, and computer before purchasing. Some AMD and Apple Silicon setups require a firmware update performed on an Intel or original M1 computer.
