The E-MU Orchestral Sessions Vol. 1 ROM (AP12068-08) focuses on symphonic strings and natural hall ambience, expanding the palette of the Proteus 2000-series modules:

  • String Sections: Violins, violas, cellos, and basses with articulations such as legato, spiccato, pizzicato, and tremolo.
  • Hall Blends: Ambient microphone recordings for adding natural room space and depth.
  • Spatial Presets: Special patches designed for wide stereo and four-speaker setups.

The E-MU Orchestral Sessions Vol. 2 ROM (AP10498-09) complements Vol. 1 by adding woodwinds, brass, percussion, and solo instruments for a complete orchestral toolkit:

  • Woodwinds & Brass: Flutes, oboes, clarinets, bassoons, trumpets, trombones, horns, and supporting brass timbres.
  • Percussion: Over 20 orchestral percussion instruments including timpani, cymbals, mallets, and auxiliary percussion.
