For sale: Elektron Digitone FM synthesizer in very good condition with the original box, original power supply, and a new USB cable. We would list as excellent, but the #3 button is a bit tacky to the touch. Otherwise a very clean unit.
Details below:
Updated to the latest OS (1.42A). Excellent cosmetic condition overall. Button #3 has the sticky button issue, as in the rubber feels a bit tacky (see photo 16). A replacement set can be ordered directly from Elektron if desired, but we do not feel it is worth it considering the condition of the rest of the buttons. Please examine all photos carefully, as we have done our best to document the condition.
The Digitone is one of the most approachable and musical FM synthesizers ever made in our opinion. Elektron managed to take the complexity traditionally associated with FM synthesis and turn it into something fast, intuitive, and genuinely inspiring to use. With 8 voices, 4 synth tracks, Elektron's legendary parameter-lock sequencer, and a beautifully integrated effects section, the Digitone can cover everything from warm pads and glassy textures to metallic percussion, basslines, and aggressive digital tones. Parameter locks, conditional trigs, micro-timing, and per-step automation make it incredibly easy to create evolving sequences and rhythmic movement, while the built-in chorus, delay, and reverb help give the Digitone a polished, spacious sound straight out of the box. Overbridge integration also allows the Digitone to function almost like a software instrument within supported DAWs.
