For sale: Elektron Analog Heat MKI stereo analog distortion processor with Overbridge support. This unit is in very good condition with the original power supply and quality aftermarket USB cable. These are a fantastic little boxes and a great addition to any studio. We love how you can use Overbridge support to stream processed audio from older synths directly into your DAW via audio over USB.
Encoder #1 below the display was wobbly and has been replaced with a new encoder. Updated to the latest OS (1.22). Unit has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out. There is a scuff or shinier area on the faceplate above the distortion model encoder and in the upper right corner. There is also a shiny ring around the filter cutoff knob. They are difficult to photograph as they only show up in the right lighting (see photos 15 and 16). Please examine all photos carefully, as we have done our best to document the condition.
The Elektron Analog Heat MKI is a stereo analog sound processor designed to add character, saturation, and dynamic movement to external audio sources. Incoming audio is routed through one of eight fully analog distortion circuits, followed by a versatile multimode stereo filter and a flexible analog EQ section, allowing for everything from subtle warmth and glue to aggressive saturation and heavy coloration. It is not a synthesizer, but rather a processing tool for shaping drums, synths, mixes, and full tracks. The modulation section includes an envelope follower and LFOs that can dynamically control parameters like filter cutoff and distortion amount, making it capable of responsive, movement-driven processing. With Overbridge support, the Analog Heat MKI integrates directly with a DAW for audio streaming, automation, and recall, functioning as both an outboard processor and a tightly integrated studio tool.
