For sale: E-MU Proteus 2000 synthesizer sound module in very good cosmetic condition and perfect working order. A new encoder and a brand-new modern replacement power supply have been installed.
Details below:
New encoder installed (see photo 14). Brand-new modern replacement power supply installed (see photo 15). The included Composer ROM passes diagnostics. Everything works as it should with no known issues. The included rack ears show some wear (see photos 16-17). There are also a few blemishes on the the faceplate/top-plate area (see photo 18). Please examine all photos carefully, as we have done our best to document the condition.
The Proteus 2000 is a 1U, 128-voice, 32-part multitimbral sound module built around E-MU's 32MB Composer soundset. Its synthesis engine supports four-layer presets, extensive modulation, 17 filter types, dual 24-bit effects processing, six analog outputs, S/PDIF, and expansion for up to 128MB of sound ROM.
