For sale: E-MU Systems Mo' Phatt 64-voice rack-mount synthesizer in excellent condition for its age. These units are great for hip-hop, R&B, and electronic music production and are surprisingly powerful despite being from an earlier era. The Mo' Phatt is capable of 64-voice polyphony, 16-part multitimbral operation, four-layer voices, Z-plane filters, and an unusually deep set of rhythmic performance tools.

We installed a new encoder to ensure this unit functions perfectly well into the future.
We also installed a new, modern power supply to ensure trouble-free operation (see photo 14).
The installed Phatt ROM passes diagnostics.
This unit is in good shape overall, but not perfect. There are a number of cosmetic blemishes commensurate with its age (see photos 15-17). Please examine all photos carefully, as we have done our best to document the condition.

Sound Engine: Sample-based synthesis built around E-MU's 32 MB Phatt sound set, with drums, basses, leads, pads, hits, loops, and effects aimed at hip-hop, R&B, dance, and electronic production.
Polyphony / Multitimbrality: 64-voice polyphony with 16-part multitimbral operation across 16 MIDI channels.
Voice Architecture: Four layers per preset, with independent sound source, filter, envelopes, LFOs, and modulation routing available for each layer.
