This synth sold on 9-6-2026.
Sold: Access Virus TI2 Desktop digital synthesizer in perfect working order and excellent cosmetic condition. As usual we've given our favorite synth a full inspection and provided detailed notes below.
Ships with a high-quality aftermarket power supply and your choice of a new high-quality, heavily shielded 1M (3.28 ft) or 1.5M (4.92 ft, photographed) USB cable optimized for audio streaming over USB. We recommend using the shortest cable possible for your setup if you intend to use the Total Integration plugin. Happy to swap in a standard 6-ft USB cable if you do not intend to use the TI plugin.
*Shop Pay is required for purchase of this item. Orders placed via other payment methods will be declined unless an exception has been discussed and approved in advance.
Details below:
All pots and tacts work flawlessly. This is a later production run that was racked up for use via the VST app. As a result, the panel board is very clean (see photos 23-24).
The display functions perfectly with both backlights working as intended. The LCD has been polished to look its best.
New Energizer CR2032 lithium cell battery installed. The original battery was fine, but we replaced it proactively since we had the unit opened up (see photo 25).
This unit was fully disassembled, inspected, and cleaned (see photo 22).
This unit looks nice and clean overall, but it's not perfect. There are a few blemishes on the sides from being in the rack mount kit (see photos 26-28) and a minor imperfection in the finish below the FX SELECT and EDIT buttons (see photos 5, 10, and 16). There are also a few scratches on the bottom of the unit from improper packing by the previous owner (see photos 21 and 29). That said, we take close-ups in bright, natural lighting to ensure full disclosure. These are the last things you will be thinking about when using this beautiful synth. Please examine all photos carefully, as we have done our best to document the condition.
The Virus TI2 is a monster of a polyphonic, multitimbral analog modeling synth. With dual DSP processors, 64 waveforms, 100 wavetables, 2 filters, 3 LFOs, an advanced mod matrix, and a full suite of effects, including a few extras over the standard TI, the sonic possibilities are virtually endless. The TI2 offers up to 110 voices of polyphony and is 16-part multitimbral, with 3 stereo outputs, as well as audio streaming over USB via the Total Integration VST, which is an absolute thing of beauty in supported operating systems. The audio streams appear directly within your DAW via 3 independent stereo pairs, allowing you to process individual Virus parts with EQ, compression, effects, automation, and third-party plugins as part of your normal mixing workflow. You can also use the 3 analog stereo outputs simultaneously, giving you access to a total of 6 stereo output pairs across USB and the analog outputs in Multi Mode.
This is a beautiful example of "The King" 👑 :)
Mac users, please do your homework before purchasing. The Total Integration app is not compatible with the latest versions of macOS. The app works perfectly in Windows 10. Users report it also works fine in Windows 11, but we have not personally tested this. Note that there are issues with the latest release of Windows 11. Some users are having to disable the new driver signing requirements (can direct you to Reddit threads if needed). There are new apps on the horizon, such as Virux. These apps are still in development, but working versions are available for Mac and PC users looking for a one-to-one replacement for the original app with a modern, scalable UI and consistent updates and bug fixes from the development team, but note, they are currently in an imperfect state.
Sale includes the synth, high-quality aftermarket power supply, a new USB cable of your choice (heavily shielded 1M or 1.5M, or a standard 6-ft cable), and free shipping to the continental US.
