Access Virus TI2 Desktop Late Production Run w/ PSU + New HQ USB Cable

For sale: Access Virus TI2 Desktop digital synthesizer in excellent condition. This is a late-production run and is very clean with only a few minor imperfections. The plastic protector from the factory is still on the LCD.

Ships with a high-quality aftermarket power supply and your choice of a new high-quality, heavily shielded 1M (3.28 ft) or 1.5M (4.92 ft, photographed) USB cable optimized for audio streaming over USB. We recommend using the shortest cable possible for your setup if you intend to use the Total Integration plugin. Happy to swap in a standard 6-ft USB cable if you do not intend to use the TI plugin.

Details below:

All pots and tacts work flawlessly. This is a later production run, confirmed by the fact that the unit's internal screws are T10 and not Phillips (see photo 22). Late-production pots are smoother and less tight.
The display functions perfectly with both backlights working as intended. The plastic protector from the factory is still on the LCD.
New Energizer CR2032 lithium cell battery installed. The original battery was fine, but we replaced it proactively since we had the unit opened up (see photo 22).
This unit inexplicably came to us with no feet. We replaced the missing feet with a high-quality permanent solution that's similar to the original factory feet, but wider and a touch softer. They are secured with a Christmas tree-shaped barb on the other side of the through-hole.
This unit is exceptionally clean, but not perfect. There is a minor scratch on the faceplate near the Value 1 knob (see photo 23). Also, the left front corner was missing paint and had been touched up with black paint by the previous owner. We removed the black paint and touched up the area with a blended charcoal metallic we make in-house. While it's generally impossible to match the factory powder coat, we came very close (please see photos 24-26). There is also a small scuff on the bottom plate (see photo 27). We take close-ups in bright, natural lighting to ensure full disclosure. We have noticed that buyers sometimes obsess over imperfections. Our best advice, in person, in the studio, we just wouldn't even care. This is a beautiful TI2.

The Virus TI2 is a monster of a polyphonic, multitimbral analog modeling synth. With dual DSP processors, 64 waveforms, 100 wavetables, 2 filters, 3 LFOs, an advanced mod matrix, and a full suite of effects, including a few extras over the standard TI, the sonic possibilities are virtually endless. The TI2 offers up to 110 voices of polyphony and is 16-part multitimbral, with 3 stereo outputs, as well as audio streaming over USB via the Total Integration VST, which is an absolute thing of beauty in supported operating systems. The audio streams appear directly within your DAW via 3 independent stereo pairs, allowing you to process individual Virus parts with EQ, compression, effects, automation, and third-party plugins as part of your normal mixing workflow. You can also use the 3 analog stereo outputs simultaneously, giving you access to a total of 6 stereo output pairs across USB and the analog outputs in Multi Mode.

Mac users, please do your homework before purchasing. The Total Integration app is not compatible with the latest versions of macOS. The app works perfectly in Windows 10. Some users report it also works fine in Windows 11, but we have not personally tested this (there are noted issues with the latest Windows 11 update that have given some users trouble).
