For sale: Access Virus TI2 Dark Star 37-key digital synthesizer in perfect working order and excellent, near-mint cosmetic condition. This is a very clean single-owner Dark Star that was very well taken care of by its previous owner. As usual, we've inspected everything and performed a few upgrades along the way.

Details below:
All 37 keys, both black and white, have been replaced with brand-new weighted Fatar keys. The previous keys had yellowed, so we replaced the actual keys rather than whitening them. The original key contact board, aftertouch strip, keyboard controller, and remaining keybed assembly are retained. Hot glue was used to seal the keybed connections, and the cables are twisted just like the factory does it (see photos 23, 26, and 27).
Installed a new Energizer CR2032 lithium cell battery. You should not need to replace the battery for ~10 years (see photo 25).
We have cleaned the unit thoroughly inside and out. Even the knobs have been cleaned and look as good as new.
There is a scratch on the outside of the right side panel. It is visible when viewed straight on, but hides fairly well at other angles (see photos 14 and 28). There are minor blemishes on the rear around the I/O connections from the plugging in of USB and other cables (see photos 18-20 and 29-31). There is a very minor blemish on the pitch wheel (see photo 21), and there is also a very minor blemish or two in the finish throughout. Please examine all photos carefully, as we have done our best to document the condition. Please keep in mind we are taking close-ups in natural lighting for full disclosure. You will not care about any of the details revealed in the close-ups when playing with this beautiful synth.
The Virus TI2 is a monster of a polyphonic, multitimbral analog modeling synth. With dual DSP processors, 64 waveforms, 100 wavetables, 2 filters, 3 LFOs, an advanced mod matrix, and a full suite of effects, including a few extras over the standard TI, the sonic possibilities are virtually endless. The TI2 offers up to 110 voices of polyphony and is 16-part multitimbral, with 3 stereo outputs, as well as audio streaming over USB via the Total Integration VST, which is an absolute thing of beauty in supported operating systems. The audio streams appear directly within your DAW via 3 independent stereo pairs, allowing you to process individual Virus parts with EQ, compression, effects, automation, and third-party plugins as part of your normal mixing workflow. You can also use the 3 analog stereo outputs simultaneously, giving you access to a total of 6 stereo output pairs across USB and the analog outputs in Multi Mode.
This is a gorgeous TI2 Dark Star, a beautiful example of the King of Kings 👑 :)
Mac and Windows 11 users, please do your homework before purchasing. The original Total Integration app is not compatible with current versions of macOS. The app works perfectly in Windows 10 (Total Integration is an absolute thing of beauty in Windows 10 / Cubase 15). Windows 11 users report that the app is working, although getting the legacy drivers installed and running may require some acrobatics. We have not personally tested it in Windows 11. Third-party programs are available for Mac, but features and compatibility vary. Please check compatibility with your intended setup before purchasing.
