For sale: Access Virus TI2 61-key Rescue in perfect functional and well traveled cosmetic condition. This synth was in exceptionally rough condition when we received it. The entire right side was buried in adhesive residue from duct tape, and there were a number of cosmetic imperfections throughout. We contemplated returning it, but ultimately decided to keep it and do our best to rescue it. While not perfect, it still looks good overall and functions perfectly. Will make a great workhorse at a great price for the right buyer.
Ships with your choice of a new high quality, heavily shielded 1M (3.28 ft) or 1.5M (4.92 ft) USB cable optimized for audio streaming over USB. We recommend using the shortest cable possible for your setup if you intend to use the Total Integration plugin. Happy to swap in a standard 6-ft USB cable (photographed) if you do not intend to use the TI plugin.

The display is nice and bright, with both backlights working as intended.
This unit has been fully disassembled, inspected, repaired, cleaned, and re-assembled to factory spec, including all cable ties and hot glue as needed to prevent anything from coming loose during shipping or while on the road.
A new OEM power supply was installed as a preventative measure. This unit looks like it saw a fair bit of use on the road, so we wanted to make sure this common failure point was addressed.
Installed a new Energizer CR2032 lithium cell battery. You should not need to replace it for ~10 years.
4 new rubber feet were installed on the bottom.
All adhesive residue was removed, and all rust and rust-prone areas were stabilized.
Please examine all photos carefully. There are a large number of cosmetic imperfections on this unit. Notably, there was a lot of missing paint and oxidation on the rear of the unit that was sanded down and stabilized using Rust-Oleum enamel. There are several spots on the top of the faceplate that received the same treatment. There are worn parts of the silkscreen below the display and on the left and right edges of the control panel. There is a dent in the right side wood panel and other imperfections in both side panels. There are a number of scrapes along the bottom frame, which is made from aluminum and not steel, so there is no need to stabilize and prevent oxidation. We left this area as is. Please see photos 39-44. Please note that the majority of the imperfections are on the rear of the unit. The front is not entirely blemish free, but the worst of it will be out of view in most cases.
Despite the cosmetic issues, this unit has a healthy main board, display, panel board, keyboard, pitch/mod wheel assembly, I/O board, and PSU. It functions flawlessly and has been well prepared for its next life. I've included a lot of photos of the internals so you can see it was done right. While it may lean more towards a buyer who is looking for a road-ready instrument, it would do equally well in the studio.

The TI2 offers up to 110 voices of polyphony and is 16-part multitimbral, with 3 stereo outs, as well as audio streaming over USB via the Total Integration VST, which is an absolute thing of beauty in supported operating systems. The audio streams appear directly within your DAW via 3 independent stereo pairs, allowing you to process individual Virus parts with EQ, compression, effects, automation, and third-party plugins as part of your normal mixing workflow. You can also use the 3 analog stereo outputs simultaneously, giving you access to a total of 6 stereo output pairs across USB and the analog outputs in Multi Mode.
Mac users, please do your homework before purchasing. The Total Integration app is not compatible with the latest versions of macOS. The app works perfectly in Windows 10. Users report it also works fine in Windows 11, but we have not personally tested this.
