SOLD: Access Virus TI Snow in excellent condition with unique Virus branded carry bag. This unit has had all tact switches replaced and a few other upgrades along the way. The overall look is nice and clean.
Details:
Replaced all tact switches with high-quality brand-name tacts rated for 1 million clicks. All are nice and responsive, like new. See photos 18-19. Replaced the internal battery with an Energizer lithium CR2032. You shouldn't need to worry about the battery for ~10 years. See photo 20. The LCD bezel has been replaced with a new part. The old one had internal imperfections that could not be polished away. The buttons and knobs were yellowed and needed to be whitened. The buttons required polishing in the end to restore full natural color. As a result, they are smoother and shinier than is typical. You likely would not notice if we didn't point out, but we wanted to disclose. The screen is nice and bright with no dimming. Both backlights are working as intended. Updated to the latest OS (5.1.7). This is a very clean TI Snow. There is some paint missing from one of the rear screws (see photo 9), there is a minor blemish in the finish below the c in "access" and near the #7 button (see photo 21). There may be another very minor mark or two we missed. Otherwise, this Snow is minty and looking great. Please examine the photos carefully, as we've done our best to document the condition.
The TI Snow is the micro version of the monster TI/TI2 series. It's 4-part multitimbral and can support 10-50 voices depending on the complexity of the patches.
Mac users, please do your homework before purchasing. The Total Integration app is not compatible with the latest versions of macOS. The app works perfectly in Windows 10 (the Total Integration is an absolute thing of beauty in Windows 10 / Cubase 15). Users report it also works fine in Windows 11, but we have not personally tested this.
