For sale: Access Virus TI Rack (Desktop) digital synthesizer in excellent condition (perhaps even near-mint, this one is very nice). This is among the cleanest TI rack/desktops you'll find available for sale in 2026. As usual, we have given it a full inspection and upgraded a few things along the way.

Note: This unit ships with the rack ears and is configured for rack use with the I/O coming out the bottom of the unit when racked. We are happy to switch to desktop config at the buyer's request.

Ships with aftermarket power supply and your choice of a new high-quality, heavily shielded 1M (3.28 ft, photographed) or 1.5M (4.92 ft) USB cable optimized for audio streaming over USB. We recommend using the shortest cable possible for your setup if you intend to use the Total Integration plugin. Happy to swap in a standard 6-ft USB cable if you do not intend to use the TI plugin.

All 43 tact switches have been replaced with high-quality, brand-name tact switches rated for 3 million clicks. They are soft-touch and very close in feel and sound to the original tact switches. See photos 23-25.
All original pots are in perfect working order and function as intended. These have that classic tight Virus feel to them. We suspect this unit was used mostly via the TI app.
The LCD display is nice and bright, with both backlights functioning as intended.
The LCD bezel has been polished and looks nearly new.
The rack ears are in great shape and are nearly blemish-free.
Ships with a high-quality aftermarket power supply.
The battery has been replaced with an Energizer CR2032 lithium cell. You should not need to replace the battery for ~10 years.
Updated to the latest OS (5.1.7).
We have cleaned the unit thoroughly inside and out. Even the knobs have been cleaned and look nearly new. No white or greasy buildup like you commonly see on Viruses from this era.
The overall look of this synth is exceptionally clean, but it is not perfect. There is an odd blemish on the right side of the LCD bezel that is difficult to see, but we wanted to fully disclose it (see photo 26). Looks like something went wrong at the factory and an extra nanometer of plastic dripped down the right side. So minor, we would not care if it were ours. There are a handful of very minor imperfections in the finish (see photos 27-30). Please examine all photos carefully, as we have done our best to document the condition. Note, close-ups are provided for full disclosure. The wider photos provide a far more representative view of how the synth looks in person. In real terms, this is one of the nicest TIs we've seen.
