Access Virus TI Desktop, All New Tacts, Battery + PSU, OS 5.1.7

For sale: Access Virus TI desktop in excellent condition. Includes new power supply and new 6 ft. USB cable (not pictured). As usual, we've given this unit a solid test and clean-up, and included some upgrades along the way. Details below:

All 43 tact switches have been replaced with high-quality, brand-name tacts rated for 1 million clicks. All are perfect and responsive, like new. See photos 19–21.
All pots are nice and smooth and work flawlessly. No need to replace any. This unit has a pot plate installed, so they will typically last forever (as long as they are not abused).
The battery has been replaced with a new Energizer CR2032 lithium cell. You should not need to replace the battery for ~10 years.
Updated to the latest OS (5.1.7).
The unit has been cleaned thoroughly inside and out. Even the knobs have been cleaned and look new. No funky white buildup like you see on many Viruses from this era.
The LCD bezel has been polished and looks its best, but note it has a minor issue common to the TI series: a faint line through the middle that’s actually inside the plastic and cannot be polished away. Fortunately, it’s very faint on this unit and disappears during normal use when the screen is powered up (see photo 5).
Sale includes a new, high-quality power supply that runs at 12V, 3.0 amps (more than enough to power the unit, meaning the PSU will run cool).
There are a number of light scratches and blemishes in the finish. The overall look is clean, but we wanted to be sure to fully disclose. Please see photos 22–26. There may be another very minor mark or two we missed. Please examine all photos carefully, as we did our best to capture the condition.

The Virus TI is an iconic monster of a polyphonic, multitimbral synth. With 64 waveforms, 72 wavetables, two filters, three LFOs, an advanced mod matrix, a full suite of effects, and more, the sonic possibilities are virtually endless. The TI has up to 80 voices of polyphony and is 16-part multitimbral, with three stereo outputs as well as audio streaming over USB via the Total Integration VST (VST, AU, AAX), which is an absolute thing of beauty in supported operating systems. The audio streams act like soft synths within your DAW, allowing you to EQ, send effects, or pile on plugins to create unique sounds during tracking. From our point of view, this speeds production along and opens up more possibilities to create something truly unique.

Mac users, please do your homework before you purchase. The Total Integration app is not compatible with the latest versions of macOS. The app works well in Windows 10. Users report it also works fine in Windows 11, but we have not personally verified this. We encourage users to do their research if they’re planning on using the Total Integration app. Feel free to reach out to us as well.
