Access Virus C Rack, All New Tacts, New Power Filter Cap, Battery + PSU, OS 6.5

For sale: Access Virus C digital synthesizer in amazing condition (single owner!). It's near-mint cosmetically, with only a few very minor blemishes. This beautiful C comes ready to be racked with OEM rack ears. Details below:

All 35 tact switches have been replaced with high-quality brand-name tacts rated for one million clicks. All are perfect and responsive, like new. See photos 16-17.
All pots work flawlessly. No replacements needed. This unit comes with a pot plate installed, which prevents wobble and keeps the pots from wearing out (a very nice feature to have). See photo 18.
The original power supply filter capacitor has been replaced with a new Panasonic EEU-FR1E101. Its high ripple-current handling and low ESR minimize heat and ensure exceptional long-term reliability for all downstream components in this Virus C.
The internal battery has been replaced with a new Energizer 2032 lithium cell. You shouldn't need to replace it for ~10 years.
Updated to the latest OS (6.5).
The unit has been cleaned thoroughly inside and out. Even the knobs were cleaned and look new. No white residue or funky buildup often seen on Viruses from this era. A few knobs show light wear, but it is minor. Please see the photos.
This unit arrived without feet. We added four new rubber feet so it can be used in desktop mode without scratching your desk.
Sale includes a new high-quality 12V 3.0A power supply. The 14mm barrel length with a 2.1mm inner diameter ensures a firm connection that prevents the unit from power cycling when the cable is wiggled.
There is one blemish near the Random button. See photo 19. There is also some marking on the underside of the rack ears (the part that goes up against your rack, thus you will never see it). There are also a couple of minor scratches on the bottom edges. Please review the photos carefully, as we've done our best to document the condition accurately.

As always, we have a deep love for all things Virus and worked hard to bring this unit back to like-new functional condition. With all new tacts and the other restoration work completed, it's ready for a second life with its next owner.
