Access Virus B Desktop, All New Tacts, Power Filter Cap, Battery + PSU, OS 4.9

For sale: Access Virus B Desktop digital synthesizer in excellent condition. We've made extensive efforts to restore this unit to "like-new" functional condition. There are a number of minor cosmetic issues, but otherwise this iconic synth is ready to go. Details below:

All 30 tact switches have been replaced with high-quality brand-name tacts rated for 1 million clicks. All are perfect and responsive, like new. See photos 20-21.
All pots are smooth and work flawlessly. We replaced 3 wobbly pots with new RK11 clones. They are generally indistinguishable from the original ALPS RK11, but have slightly less resistance.
The original Nichicon power supply filter capacitor in this unit was replaced with a new Panasonic EEU-FR1E101. The Panasonic's high ripple current handling and low ESR minimize heat and ensure exceptional reliability and performance for all downstream components in this B Desktop. 
The battery has been replaced with a new Energizer 2032 lithium-ion. You should not need to replace the battery for ~10 years.
Updated to the latest OS (4.9).
The unit has been cleaned thoroughly inside and out. Even the knobs have been cleaned and look new. No white or greasy buildup like you see on many Viruses from this era.
The wood sides have been touched up with stain, polycoated, and waxed.
Sale includes a new high-quality power supply that runs at 12V 3.0A (more than enough to power the unit, meaning the PSU will run cool). This power supply has a 14mm tip length with a 2.1mm inner tip diameter, meaning it won't reset the unit when wiggled.
There are a number of scratches and blemishes in the finish. The overall look is clean, but we wanted to fully disclose. Please see photos 22-31. Please examine all photos carefully, as we did our best to capture the condition in the photos.

As always, we have a deep love for all things Virus and have poured our hearts into this one. With all tacts replaced, along with the rest of the restoration work done, it's well-prepared for a second life with its new owner.
