Yamaha NS-10M Tweeter JA0518A (USED)

For sale: Yamaha NS-10M Studio tweeter (USED). This tweeter works perfectly, but there is a fairly pronounced imperfection in the grill I did my best to document in the photos. I removed and did my best to correct, but once these things are smashed, it's very difficult to even things back out 100%. It's more difficult to notice once installed, but it is visible. Terminals are cleaned and ready to go for easy installation. This unit has been fully tested and is good to go (see video).

If you are replacing a blown tweeter with a perfect grill, I would consider swapping grills out before install. It can be a pain, but just go slow and be careful. Anybody can do it. Message me if you need help.

Strongly recommend you get some needle nose pliers and rubber band them around the terminal you are performing soldering on. See photo 7 for an image of this technique. This will help intercept any excess heat and keep it from ruining your tweeter during install. The tweeter pictured in photo 6 is not this tweeter. If the metal on the needle nose pliers gets too warm, stop and wait before continuing. I have installed / removed messy soldering on many NS-10 speakers using this method and have never burned any of them.
